A rose has two sides to it. Pretty and sweet. Thorny and exotic.

This recipe is the daring, sexy version of a beautiful rose.

With a main scent of rose, the also musky earthy aroma will catch you by surprise.

One can’t help but feel intoxicating when using this Exotic Rose Whipped Body Butter Recipe.

I also love using this on my face! Slab some on right before bedtime. When you wake up in the morning your face will feel smooth as can be.

My other favorite time to use this body butter is right after the shower. The aroma makes me feel light and awake.

Although I don’t recommend rubbing on your body, let’s say, when you have to go to work in an hour.

It’s so luxurious and thick, it will need some time to soak into your skin. But once it does, your skin will be doing the happy dance.

Believe me! A little goes a long way.

If floral aromas aren’t your thing, try my Lemon Sugar Cookie Whipped Body Butter.  You’ll be smelling like a sugary sweet cookie all day long!

Below I have included free labels that you can download, print, and use for your amazing creations.

  • I included 2 different sizes depending on the size of jar you plan on using.
  • I use these Avery Full Sheet Stickers for all of my handmade health & beauty products.

Ingredients:

Directions:

In a double boiler, melt shea butter, coconut oil, and apricot oil. I like to use a saucepan within a larger saucepan filled with water. I’ve seen others use a glass Pyrex measuring cup inside a saucepan filled with water.

Transfer to your mixer bowl. Add the rose and patchouli essential oils.

Wait until your mixture partially solidifies. You don’t want it to be fully hardened nor really silky. Right in the middle. If all of it happens to become solid, simply reheat and stick in the fridge for a faster drying time.

Mixing time! Use an electronic mixer and mix on high for 5-7 minutes. I know this seems like a long time, but you’ll start to notice it expand and fluff as time goes on. Just what we want!

As this is mixing add the soap colorant if you wish to have a pinkish color to your body butter. I used about 5 drops of red dye to get a light pink color.

Scoop your mixture into an airtight glass jar for a longer shelf life.

This Exotic Rose Whipped Body Butter Recipe fills about two 8-ounce jars.

Lather into your skin and you’ll be feeling relaxed and pretty in no time!

I especially love using this body butter on my face. And my face loves it too.

Because there are no harsh chemical preservatives added to this natural body butter, the shelf life is about 5-8 months. But I really don’t think it’s going to even last you that long.

You’ll be wanting to use your Exotic Rose Whipped Body Butter every day!
