I have dry, sensitive skin.

So I’ve been looking for a good face wash that won’t irritate or dry out my pores.

I searched and searched for the best all-natural ingredients for all skin types.

And I came up with this Honey Matcha Face Wash recipe.

It has become my daily face wash and I love incorporating it into my evening routine.

After using, my skin feels soft and rejuvenated.

It’s amazing how well this stuff works!

Honey Matcha Face Wash

To take off my makeup, I will scrub my face with this Honey Match Face Wash.

Rinse with warm water.

Then I go onto lathering my face with these Lavender & Orange Lotion Bars.

Let me tell you, my face is very happy after every evening routine!

Using all-natural ingredients for healthy skin is the ONLY way to go.

  • Honey has antibacterial properties which can prevent acne and smooth skin textures such as rough or dry skin.
  • Avocado Oil is rich in fatty acids that improve and prevents chapped skin
  • Castile Soap has natural ingredients that won’t clog pores that often leads to acne.
  • Matcha is a powerful antioxidant that is made form a whole green tea leaf. The catechins help trap and inactivate free radicals in the skin, therefore decreasing many signs of aging.
  • Tea Tree Essential Oil has antibacterial and antifungal properties which makes this recipe great for washing the face.

Of course, we all have different skin types.

Some dry and some oily.

So I will recommend a few of the best essential oils for both dry and oily skin.

Dry Skin:

  • Cedarwood
  • Myrhh
  • Sandalwood
  • Geranium
  • Roman or German Chamomile

Oily Skin:

  • Lemon
  • Lime
  • Sweet Orange
  • Bergamot
  • Cypress

Below I have included free labels that you can download, print, and use for your amazing creations.

  • I included 2 different sizes depending on the size of container you plan on using.
  • I use these Avery Full Sheet Stickers for all of my handmade health & beauty products.

Directions:

Mix all ingredients in a small bowl.

Pour the mixture into a bottle container.

Fill the rest of your bottle with water.

Always shake before using.

This recipe fills an 8-ounce bottle.

If you wish to use a 4-ounce bottle, cut the recipe in half.

Try this Honey Matcha Face Wash and you will never look back!

What I like about this recipe is that you can use any essential oil.

One month I might want tea tree, but the next I’ll use lavender.

It’s nice to switch things up from time to time.

If you are washing your face daily with this moisturizer, the 8-ounce should last you about 1-2 months.

    1. Hello Kaylan, if you are using a different essential oil then you do not need to add the tea tree essential oil in also.

  1. I just recently made this & I love it! I have noticed my mixture is really liquidy, is it suppose to be of that consistency? Thank you in advance!

    1. Hello Michelle! I am so glad you are enjoying your Honey Matcha Face Wash. Yes, this fash wash is meant to take off your makeup and any dirt or oil build up. The consistency will be liquidy. I like to pour it onto a cotton ball and then apply to my face. Thank you!
