If you are one of the lucky ones that never get cracked heels, I’m jealous.

My feet usually get super dry during the winter time.

I don’t know if wearing socks and slippers around the house all day long has anything to do with it?

Or if it’s the super cold weather that loves to dry out my skin every year.

Either way, these Mountain Mint Lotion Bars have natural ingredients that are great for hydrating and soothing skin.

For the more solid ingredients, this recipe uses beeswax and unrefined shea butter to get a bar like texture.

Unrefined coconut oil and sweet almond oil are added for extra moisturization.

Explaining the Mountain Mint Lotion Bar title, I use cedarwood and peppermint essential oils to make you feel like your taking a hike through beautiful mountain peaks.

When breathing in the subtle aroma of these particular essential oils, you’ll be transported to a place where tall trees, colorful flowers, and nature’s wonders are at your fingertips.

This essential oil blend is that good!

I love using a minty scent when it comes to hydrating my feet.

After making them look all nice and pretty, the mint is like the cherry on top of a cake.

Feels like I’m at a spa!

If you’d like to make these and give out as gifts, simply place them in any type of container. I like to use the shorter mason jars, add a label and ribbon and you have yourself a thoughtful spa gift.

Below I have included free labels that you can download, print, and use for your amazing creations.

  • I included 2 different sizes depending on the size of jar you plan on using.
  • I use these Avery Full Sheet Stickers for all of my handmade health & beauty products.

Ingredients:

Directions:

In a double boiler on medium heat melt the beeswax, shea butter, coconut oil, and sweet almond oil.

Transfer to a mixing bowl.

Stir in the essential oils and mica pigment powder. Add the mica in small quantities until you get the color you desire. Be careful not to add too much or your lotion bar will be super sparkly once applied to the skin.

Pour your mixture into silicone molds and wait to solidify for about 3-4 hours. If you are in a hurry, place your molds in the fridge for a faster drying time.

Carefully pop out your lotion bars from the molds.

Sounds pretty easy right?

Use these Mountain Mint Lotion Bars on your feet or body.

Once you place this on your skin the ingredients will start to melt by your body heat and you can blend in.

In no time, you’ll be walking through the beautiful mountains smelling the pine trees and running with nature.

Sounds like a dream!
