Does your skin need some extra TLC?
This recipe is really easy to make and the results will leave your skin feeling extra soft and plump.
Ingredient Benefits:
Seaweed contains vitamin E and amino acids which act as a hydrant to the skin. It also has antioxidants such as vitamins B and C that help to heal skin and clear pigmentation.

Omega, zinc, and magnesium are also found in seaweed. These help the skin to heal any infections or acne.
In this Seaweed Facial Mask Recipe, I use kelp powder. Kelp is a type of seaweed known as brown algae. Kelp is larger than other types of seaweed and contains iodine which is essential for women’s health.
Kelp powder does have a distinct smell, not so pleasant to most, so the grapefruit and lavender essential oils help to mask that aroma.
Avocado oil and aloe vera gel are also very moisturizing to the skin. This recipe has lots of goodness in it! Yay!

Ingredients:
- 1 teaspoon Avocado Oil
- 2 drops Grapefruit Essential Oil
- 1 drop Lavender Essential Oil
- 1/2 teaspoon Kelp Powder
- 1 tablespoon Aloe Vera Gel
Directions:
Combine avocado oil, grapefruit essential oil, lavender essential oil, and kelp powder.
Mix well until all chunks are smooth and gone.

Add aloe vera gel. Mix together.
Using a generous amount, apply to a clean face avoiding the eye area.
Leave on for 10-15 minutes or until the mask is dry.
Wash off with warm water and moisturize with your favorite moisturizer.

This Seaweed Facial Mask Recipe is cooling on the face and has natural ingredients that your skin will love!
I highly recommend combining the oils with the kelp powder first. The powder will break down and become easier to mix with the other ingredients. You can then go on to add the aloe vera gel.
The shelf life is one week when stored in the refrigerator. This Seaweed Facial Mask Recipe makes enough for 2-3 uses on the face. I recommend using this 2-3 times per week.
